Im \u00e4rztlichen Alltag betrifft diese Charakterisierung eine gro\u00dfe Menge an Informationen von zugleich hoher Dichte aus unterschiedlichsten Quellen mit schwankend hohem Differenzierungs- und Strukturierungsgrad. Als wichtige Eckpfeiler jeglicher Big Data-Konzepte gelten die Bestandteile Analyse und Verkn\u00fcpfung von Informationen. Damit Analysen und Verkn\u00fcpfungen gro\u00dfer Datenmengen \u00fcberhaupt praktikabel erm\u00f6glicht werden, sind automatisierte Datenverarbeitungstechnologien sowie -werkzeuge auf leistungsf\u00e4higer IT-Infrastruktur eine Grundvoraussetzung f\u00fcr die Durchf\u00fchrung in der Praxis. Schlie\u00dflich sind Menschen zu derartig vielen Rechenoperationen allein schon aus Zeitgr\u00fcnden ohne technologische Unterst\u00fctzung nicht in der Lage. Ein Erkenntnisgewinn w\u00fcrde sich extrem verz\u00f6gern bis unm\u00f6glich werden.<br><br>Big Data als Technik und Praxis umfasst damit nachfolgende Teilaspekte, die in Bezug zu Menschenrechten und grundlegenden ethischen Prinzipien gesetzt werden k\u00f6nnen.
